Description

The Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (CMOS) and the Canadian Geophysical Union
(CGU) are jointly hosting the 2025 Congress. This hybrid event will bring together over 600 delegates including leading researchers, academics, government representatives, and industry professionals in atmospheric science, hydrology, meteorology, oceanography, geodesy, and earth sciences. The Congress offers unparalleled opportunities for networking, collaboration, and showcasing innovations.

Campbell Scientific Abstract at CMOS x CGU 2025 Congress Presented by Adam Green and Zach Boudreau

Evaluation of a New Trace-Gas Analyzer Designed for Eddy Covariance Flux Measurements of Methane (CH4) and Nitrous Oxide (N2O)

Join us at the poster sessions during the CMOS x CGU 2025 Congress to explore the latest advancements in methane emissions and measurement techniques across Canada. Our abstract, authored by Ivan Bogoev and Scott S. Cornelsen, focuses on the evaluation of the TGA300 series trace-gas analyzers developed by Campbell Scientific.

Key features of the TGA300 include:

  • Mid-infrared inter-cascade laser with a 1 m single-pass sample cell
  • Integrated low-power vacuum pump maintaining 30 kPa sample pressure
  • Reference gas cell for improved spectral line tracking and stability
  • Vortex particle separator and integrated Nafion membrane for sample air cleaning

Visit our booth and poster session to learn more about these innovative measurement techniques and discuss the findings with our experts, Adam Green and Zach Boudreau.
