Failure to communicate with wiring panel

Bas May 3, 2024 02:18 PM

Hello,

I am trying to connect to a CR1000 wiring panel using PC400 software and an RS232 to micro-USB cable. While an initial connection can be established, it goes as wrong as soon as the table definitions are being read. The program disconnects and I get the errror messages "serial framing error", "PakBus framing error","Invalid low level signature" and "transaction failure","timed out or resource error","file receive - .TDF". I have tried changing the baud rate to all available options, but this does not seem to help. When I try to connect using the device config utility, I get the message "Communication failed while device settings were being read". Does anyone know of something else I could try? Many thanks in advance for your help!

Bas
