I need help to understand if it's possible to done what i'm looking for.
Configuration:
On a buoy, we have a CR310 that if connect via RS-232 to a modem RF500M and send via a radio. We have three buoys. To preserve the battery, the site is remotely accessible for a short periode of time ( 4 time of 15min during the days)
On a remote site, we have a radio and a base modem RF500M that is connected with RS-232 to a NL-201. On the same remote site, we have a CR1000X. Both the CR1000X and the NL-201 are connected to a network switch.
Presently if i want to collect the data on each CR310, i need to connect on it and collect data manually. I try to collect data with a ftp server, but we have network restriction that make it impossible.
Question:
Is it possible with the CR1000X to automatically collect data form the three CR310 to store it in the CR1000X?
I'm looking at the getdatarecord, getfile, getrecord, getvariables, sendgetvariables, but i'm a bit lost in all the possibility.
I have 5 variable to collect: date, time, record#, data 1, data 2 on each CR310.
