The RF315M is used with radios purchased directly from DRL. Networks can contain a mixture of RF315M modems, RF500M modems, and RF500B base stations. If RF315M modems are used in a network containing RF500M modems or RF500B base stations, then the RF315M modems must use the -TD PROM; the data loggers must also support PakBus (e.g., CR10X-PB, CR1000).
The RF315M is not compatible with other radios, radio modems, or radio base stations (e.g., RF300, RF310, RF310M, RF310B, P50, RF95(A), RF232(A)).

Usually, yes. Contact Campbell Scientific for a return material authorization number (RMA) and instructions for returning the unit for repair. Additional information is available on the Repair and Calibration page.
No. The CR1000KD is designed specifically for use on the CS I/O port of the CR800, CR1000, and CR6 dataloggers.
If the RF modem has a CS I/O connector, then it should be compatible with the CR10X without the use of an SC932A. Ensure that the RF modem’s firmware is compatible with the CR10X firmware.
Note: RF modems that are not sold by Campbell Scientific will only interface with a CR10X via an SC932A or an SC105.
