Overview

The SC-IRDA is an infrared device that allows a PDA handheld to communicate with a data logger without opening the enclosure door. The SC-IRDA allows a PDA to communicate with a data logger housed inside an environmental enclosure without opening the enclosure's door. Typically this infrared device is placed in a compression fitting that has been added to the side of an enclosure. The SC-IRDA is sealed against moisture allowing it to withstand exposure to rain or snow.
