The COM9522B interface provides a convenient way to connect an Iridium 9522B satellite transceiver to a computer or data logger and to a power supply. When the COM9522B interface and Iridium 9522B satellite transceiver are combined, a data logger is easily accessible over the global Iridium satellite network.
The COM9522B may be ordered individually or preferably as part of the IRIDIUM9522B Satellite Modem and Interface Kit.
Read MoreThe COM9522B has an RS-232 port, power and control terminals, and a 26-pin connector. The COM9522B connects to the data logger's RS-232, COM, or CS I/O port.

LoggerNet provides support for communicating with our data loggers over the the Iridium network using the Iridium 9522B. LoggerNet provides user control by allowing direct communications with the remote station using the Iridium Dial-up or RUDICS services. LoggerNet can run unattended, providing scheduled communications for data and image collection, as well as remote station administration.
The COM9522B requires a desiccated, non-condensing environment; a Campbell Scientific enclosure is recommended. Grommets and screws are provided to attach the COM9522B to the backplate of our enclosures.
